I found Mummas On The Move when it popped up as an ad on Instagram and thank goodness it did! I’d been searching for a prenatal class for some time and hadn’t found one that I seemed to like. From the first contact I knew this was the perfect fit! I started about half way through my pregnancy and wish I had come across the classes sooner! All my friends kept telling me to really focus on key pregnancy exercises but really didn’t know where to start, so this class was the perfect foundation. The classes are fantastic for any fitness/pregnancy stage so I felt it was never too late to start. It was so empowering to do the classes whilst pregnant as I felt so much stronger and confident in myself. I had previously never been interested in exercise and this class has finally got me hooked, now I love doing two classes a week! The classes are fun and have become my perfect mothers group. I’d genuinely be lost without these outings each week as it was the push I needed to keep active once bub arrived. I was made to feel so welcome and Sarah genuinely loves each bub and is passionate about seeing mums thrive. I can’t recommend these classes highly enough. And best of all, I actually feel physically strong, which is a savior for all the long days holding a bub. Mumma On The Move: Zhaan
I joined mummas on the move in January when my daughter was 3 months old. It’s been perfect for us and we have loved going to Sarah’s sessions. During those early months of maternity leave having a regular outing gave us some structure and purpose during the week. Its been a great place to meet other mums in the area and get outside to do some exercise. Sarah is so good with all the babies and caters for whatever is happening on the day. I couldn’t recommend enough. Mumma On The Move: Laura
I started Mummas on the Move 2 months post partum, in July 2019. Sarah runs relaxing and supportive classes for mum’s with tum’s and babes! The ability to exercise and get the endorphins flowing whilst your baby is within eyesight and safe is priceless! Mumma On The Move: Steph
I started Mummas pre-natally after seeing and ad on Facebook. I was about 20 weeks pregnant and although still going to the gym I was pretty keen on joining up to something that specialised in pregnancy because I actually had no clue if what I was doing was right for both myself and bubba. After attending my first class and meeting Sarah I signed up on the spot. I couldn’t have loved it or her any more! I felt safe and knew that I was in good hands with someone who knew what they were talking about (thank god because I was still doing crunches, ummm opps). These classes became a regular part of my weekly routine and I gained a lot of confidence from the help and support offered by Sarah - I was actually in great hands! Fast forward 6 weeks after the birth of my little girl Stevie. I was DYING to get back to training and was a no brainer to start back with Sarah with her post natal classes in the park Tuesday and Thursday. This decisions has shaped the last 8 months of mother hood for me. Not only have I had the support needed to get back to the right training for me (I needed to be super careful thanks to a birth injury) but the classes have been without a doubt the best part of our weeks. Getting out in the sun, the friendships we have made, becoming stronger and fitter with the guidance of Sarah has contributed greatly to the positive experience I have had as a first time Mum. I can’t thank Sarah enough for what she has provided both Stevie and I.... plus she is actually the baby whisperer and happily takes the bubbas if they need a hug and you want to keep training! Mummas on the move has gotten me through from prenatal to postnatal. Sarah specialises in working on mummy bodies - at the right pace and strengthening the right places. Not only does she get your hot mummy body but she is also amazing with bubs which takes the anxiety of having your little one disrupt your training session. I’ve also met amazing like-minded women who care as much about their own self care as well as their bubs. I live for this class each week and my bub and I have made some great friends here! Mumma On The Move: Nicole
Mummas on the Move has helped me to get back into exercise slowly, safely and at a pace that I’m comfortable with since the birth of my son. Sarah goes above and beyond for her mums n bubs, often providing advice and additional focussed exercises for those if they need to assist in a better recovery. The group has even become a bit of a mummy’s group with some socialising outside of group classes. Highly recommend! Mumma On The Move: Maddy
Sarah is fantastic. She has created such a supportive environment for women to feel comfortable and confident when exercising post birth! The exercises are catered to each individuals needs and she is always on had to correct technique. Being able to exercise with your baby knowing everyone is in the same position and is there to talk about individual experiences is great. I really look forward to our classes! Mumma On The Move: Jo
I heard about Mummas on the move through my sister in law and started classes at around 19 weeks pregnant. Sarah is extremely knowledgeable when it comes to pregnancy and post-natal workouts. This made me feel safe whilst exercising, something I had struggled to find elsewhere. Six weeks after my daughter was born I started classes again and it has not only provided me with the chance to get back into exercise but also the opportunity to meet other new mums. Sarah knows exactly what exercises are safe to complete postnatally so you can rest assured you won’t be doing any harm to your body. I cannot recommend Mummas on the move more highly. |

I love attending Mummas on the move classes. I noticed a huge improvement in my body tone and overall fitness in a very short period of time. I was nervous about getting back into exercise after a c-section with previous back issues caused during exercise (resulting in an L4/5 disectomy operation after my first pregnancy). However Sarah provided incredible support with a thoughtful and modified approach with me and I got back into fitness in no time, with much improved core strength. Sarah introduces a new regime for every class, keeping it exciting and interesting- and always pays close attention to all her students, modifying exercises when necessary. It’s a great opportunity to bond with other mums and for babies to socialise. As a result, the classes go so fast! It’s an added bonus to have such a lovely view by the water. Sarah is an excellent teacher and I would highly recommend Mummas on the move.. especially to women with previous pre existing conditions and c sections that need a highly qualified teacher in pre and post partum exercise. I started attending Mummas on the move classes in July 2019. I absolutely love coming to Sarah's Mummas on the move classes. Sarah always makes sure that I feel welcome and comfortable to participate at my own pace. Sarah brings a wealth of knowledge and experience, specific for a Mum's recovering body. She talks us through each exercise to ensure we are completing each movement safely and knows just the right balance between pushing us to make improvements, and being gentle enough to work within our limits. Most importantly though, Sarah is excellent with our babies, which gives me the opportunity to get out of the house (which can be so difficult some days) with the peace of mind that I will have a helping hand at class. Sarah's Mummas on the move class is simply fabulous and I can't recommend it enough for any new mum! Mumma On The Move: Scarlett
I heard about MOTM via Google for mums and bubs fitness. I stated at the beginning of May this year. What I enjoy most is being able to exercise with my baby and get a proper workout as Sarah helps when Ada is fussy so I can concentrate on getting fit. It’s a great group of ladies, just like a fit mother’s group and Sarah modifies the intensity and exercises for fitness levels and injuries. Mumma On The Move: Sheree
I heard about Mummas On The Move through one of the Mum’s at my mothers group, and we were all keen to have a class together. I LOVE the class! It gives me a chance to focus on myself for an hour, while being in a supportive environment if I need to feed my baby etc. The classes are a good work out, but also gentle enough for the postpartum period. Sarah really understands new mums bodies and works with you to build that core strength up again. I also love that there are always helpers to cuddle your baby if they get grizzly, so I feel like it’s a good break for me. Mumma On The Move: Tayana
I started Mummas on the move pre-natal, about 18 weeks. I used to go to the gym but I was losing my confidence of what I could and couldn’t do. My first class with Sarah, my confidence came flooding back. I was in a room with other Mummy’s to be, Sarah really knew her stuff and she took the time to correct my moves and guide me through the class. I continued with these classes my whole pregnancy and was able to maintain my fitness whilst in a safe and fun environment. Fast forward to post natal and after the amazing pre natal classes Sarah I couldn’t wait to start mums and bubs. My Bub is now 10months and I have been attending since she was 8 weeks. I have not only been about to get my pre baby body back, I have made some amazing friends. Sarah and her classes have had such a huge impact on my Mummy’s life, I couldn’t be more grateful. Mumma On The Move: Yvette
I’m so thankful to have stumbled across Mummas on the Move. I joined as soon as I could when my son was 6 weeks old. He’s now almost 8 months and the sessions are the consistent backbone of my maternity leave. It’s like a mother’s group - the ladies are a support network and have become genuine friends. It’s also like a playgroup for my son. Playing, growing and bonding with other babies is such fun and helps his development. Sarah is warm, welcoming and never hesitates to hold unsettled babies so we are free to exercise. I’ve had a lot of amazed comments about how I’ve got back in shape so quickly with little effort and I put this down to 1-2 classes a week. While I’ve been big on team sports in the past, I’ve never been keen on the gym so have never done these types of exercises before but Sarah explains everything. Her exercises have really helped to tone me up and make me confident after growing a little human! It’s good just to get your body moving with friendly faces, outdoors in the sun! Honestly, most of the time it doesn’t even feel like we are exercising because it’s such fun! I would recommend these classes to any new mum at any postpartum stage. Mumma On The Move: Liron
I joined mummas on the move after I won 5 free sessions for just chatting to Sarah at a baby expo. It was the push I needed to return to excercise after a rather traumatic birth with my first bubba. I was feeling really vulnerable in my post baby body when I turned up to my first session but was instantly put at ease by Sarah and felt so confident that I was in good and really experienced hands. She instantly made me feel welcome and had such a loving approach with my baby girl, Poppy. I can’t thank Sarah enough for her support in rebuilding my confidence and helping me to gain back my pre-baby body. I also have mummas on the move to thank for the amazing group of mummy friends I now have in my life. Mumma On The Move: Rita
Thanks Sarah for creating a super awesome environment for busy mummas to work out! I’ve been taking classes with Sarah since I was pregnant and then after the birth of my bub. I love it! Not only do I get a great workout but it’s good to know that I am doing the right exercises for my body pre and post birth. Plus! I can bring Felix to our sesh 😊 I also love that I’ve met other mums and their bubs! It’s the best seeing them grow! |
