*Winter* Mums and Bubs Fitness
Where: Glebe PCYC 2-4 Minogue Crescent, Glebe
When: Tuesdays & Thursdays 10-11am
Please note you will need to become a member of the Glebe PCYC as condition of entry to our Indoor Mums and Bubs classes. This fee can be paid directly to the PCYC after your first session (if you decide to join our Mumma's On The Move classes on a regular basis). This fee directly contributes to supporting youth within the community.
Congratulations on the birth of your baby! We are sure you are smitten with your little bundle of joy, but we are also sure that you deserve some YOU time! This is where we come in. Our Mums and Bubs classes provide you with an opportunity to get some fresh air, workout with your baby, and meet like minded women (and grab coffee after class of course!).
What to expect:
Think of this class as a small group personal training session, with babies!
There is a maximum capacity of six members per class. This ensures that appropriate modifications can be made for everyone in the class, and all babies can be well supervised.
Expect to break a sweat with safe, low impact cardio that will protect and support your pelvic floor
Rediscover your strength with light weights and gentle core work (specially designed for women that have just had babies)
Choose to complete the exercises with your baby in tow or keep them close by in the pram or play mat.
FAQ. I've just had my baby, when can I start?
If you've just had your baby, you will need your six week doctors check. For vaginal births you can join at six weeks post natal, for C-sections you can join at 10- 12 weeks post natal.
